New World Resource Corp. (CVE:NW) announced the commencement of a minimum 1,500 metre drill program on its 99% owned Pastos Grandes lithium brine project in southwestern Bolivia.

New World Resource Corp. (TSXV:NW) announced the commencement of a minimum 1,500 metre drill program on its 99% owned Pastos Grandes lithium brine project in southwestern Bolivia.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The Company has completed near surface sampling of the brine to a depth of 1.3 metres. This sampling program returned very favourable results with average lithium grades of greater than 1,000 ppm and potassium contents of 1.73%. The magnesium to lithium ratio is also very favourable at 2.2:1.
