As quoted in the press release:
Some of the highlights of the conference included presentations from Eric Norris, the Technology Director for second leading industry producer FMC Global, which included a forecast of the doubling of lithium demand by 2020. Talison Lithium forecast an even steeper growth in demand with a future transport high case scenario of 500,000 tonnes LCE demand by 2020 up from the 130,000 tonnes estimated consumption in 2011 by Signum Box
