The Northern Miner Examines Nemaska Lithium’s Agreement with Cree Nation
The Northern Miner recently highlighted the signing of an impact benefits agreement between the Cree Nation of Nemaska and Nemaska Lithium (TSXV:NMX), citing the Company’s small footprint as one of the highlights for the Cree. Robert Kitchen, Nemaska’s economic development officer and one of the community’s lead negotiators, said, “The fact that they’re extracting the ore and processing it somewhere else makes this agreement both unique and green. It’s also green in the sense that the lithium produced will be used in electric vehicles.”
