A blog post from the Wall Street Journal listed lithium as one of seven things Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) says investors should be thinking about.
As quoted in the publication:
Take a look at Tesla Motors Inc.’s stock over the past few years, and you’ll see a lot of hype around battery-powered electric vehicles. Against this backdrop, Goldman said that the unique properties of lithium position it for portable energy storage applications that “will be a key enabler of the electric car revolution and replace gasoline as the primary source of transportation fuel.”
Benchmark Mineral Intelligence advised Goldman on the lithium industry and battery supply chains during research for the report.
