California Lithium Battery to Commercialize “GEN3” Lithium Battery

California Lithium Battery Inc. has entered into an agreement with Argonne National Laboratory in order to commercialize “GEN3” lithium battery.

As quoted in the press release:

This new transformational battery will offer the highest energy density and longest cycle life of any lithium battery made today. CalBattery believes that it will be able manufacture this GEN3 lithium-ion battery in the US at a comparable cost reduction up to 70%.

California Lithium Battery’s CEO, Phil Roberts stated:

Billions of dollars of energy are being wasted every year because we can’t store electricity affordably and practically.
