Syrah Upgrades Resource for Mepiche Zone at Balama East

Syrah Resources Ltd. (ASX:SYR) announced an upgraded resource for the Mepiche Zone, located at Balama East, commenting that it now has a measured, indicated and inferred resource of 214.3 million tonnes at 16-percent TGC and 0.43-percent V2O5 at a 13-percent cut off.

Further highlights include:

  • The Mepiche Zone at Balama East now comprises a Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resource of 214.3 million tonnes at 16.0% total graphitic carbon (TGC) and 0.43% V2O5 for 34.3 million tonnes of contained graphite and 927,300 tonnes of contained V2O5 at a 13% TGC cut off.
  • The Mepiche Zone Measured and Indicated Resource stands at 54.34 million tonnes at 16.2% TGC and 0.45% V2O5 for 8.8 million tonnes of contained graphite and 240,930 tonnes of contained V2O5 at a 13% TGC cut off.
  • The Mepiche Zone is still open along strike and down dip.
