Syrah Resources (ASX:SYR) reported that infill drilling from Balama East in Mozambique demonstrate exceptional high grade graphite – above 20% total graphitic carbon – as well as high vanadium grades at the Ativa Zone.

Best intercepts include:

– BMDD0073 – 36.4 metres at 20.1% TGC and 0.34% V2O5 from 2.8 metres;
– BMDD0078 – 20 metres at 25.6% TGC and 0.22% V2O5 from 9 metres, and 37.8 metres at 20.9% TGC, and 0.39% V2O5 from 35.2 metres; and
– BMDD0079 – 19 metres at 28.1% TGC and 0.23% V2O5 from 20.0 metres.
– BMDD0080B – 26m at 19.2% TGC and 0.37% V2O5 from 15.0m to 41.0m
-BMDD0084 – 80.4m at 22.8% TGC and 0.37% V2O5 from 21.0m to 101.4m
– BMDD0087 – 40.0m at 20.2% TGC and 0.33% V2O5 from 31.0m to 71.0m
