Nouveau Monde Releases First Drill Result from Matawinie Graphite Project

Nouveau Monde Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSXV:NOU) announced that a one-hole drill testing program at its Quebec-based Matawinie graphite project returned 11.9-percent graphitic carbon over 17.3 meters, including 13.05-percent graphitic carbon over 13.12 meters. That is the first exploration drilling result from the property.

That is the first exploration drilling result from the property.

As quoted in the press release:

Drilling, conducted in mid-July of 2013, was initiated to test the continuation at depth of the Ti-Nou surface showing as well as to test drilling equipment in view of an upcoming field campaign. Hole TN-DH01 was drilled at a -45deg dip angle with an azimuth of 75deg. The drill collar was set directly on the beginning of trench TN-TR01 announced on July 8(th) 2013 and located alongside a dirt road.

A short one (1) hole drill testing program returned 11.9 % Cg over 17.32m including 13.05 % Cg over 13.12 m. Graphitic gneiss was intercepted over the entire 39 m length. Samples collected from split core was sent for analysis, significant results are shown in Table 1.
