National Graphite Corp. (OTCBB:NGRC) announced that samples from the production pit at its Nevada-based Chedic graphite prospect graded 25 to 40 percent and have the potential to yield more than a million tons of graphite.

John Rud, the independent geologist contracted by the company, stated:

The Geophysical Survey recently completed on the Company’s Chedic Graphite property showed indications in excess of an indicated depth of 1500 feet with widths ranging from 50 to 150 feet. These numbers do not include the newly discovered anomaly currently under an in-depth evaluation.

The Company’s drill program currently under the permitting process has been designed to investigate the several large low resistivity anomalies that potentially represent the eastward extension of the Chedic Graphite Mine. The Chedic mining prospects physical location makes this an extremely compelling project.
