Benoit Gascon, CEO of Mason, commented:

This partnership demonstrates our commitment to implement our project taking into account all aspects of sustainable development and social acceptability. It will be a valuable platform in community relationship.

We attach great importance to the environment and sustainable development and we want to establish lasting ties with the people of Manicouagan. This is also why we are already in regular communication with regional stakeholders and that, in 2014, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Pessamit First Nation for the implementation of the project.
