    Mason Graphite Partners with Manicouagan-Uapishka Biosphere Reserve

    Mason Graphite Inc. (TSXV:LLG,OTCQX:MGPHF) announced a partnership with the Manicouagan-Uapishka Biosphere Reserve regarding the development of its Quebec-based Lac Gueret project.

    As quoted in the press release:

    The main objective of the partnership is the implementation of a project meeting the highest standards of sustainable mining development and social acceptability. This approach will allow Mason Graphite to plan and optimize its project taking into account the concerns, aspirations and expectations of the community. This dialogue will help to harmonize land uses, maximize social and economic benefits and minimize its environmental impact.

    Benoit Gascon, CEO of Mason, commented:

    This partnership demonstrates our commitment to implement our project taking into account all aspects of sustainable development and social acceptability. It will be a valuable platform in community relationship.

    We attach great importance to the environment and sustainable development and we want to establish lasting ties with the people of Manicouagan. This is also why we are already in regular communication with regional stakeholders and that, in 2014, we signed a cooperation agreement with the Pessamit First Nation for the implementation of the project.
