Great Lakes Graphite Inc. (TSXV:GLK) announced its final assay results for its 2014-2015 infill and step-out drilling program at its Lochaber graphite project in Quebec, which reveal further high-grade graphite intercepts.

As quoted in the press release:

Included are assay results from the remaining six holes: GLK-14-03 through GLK-14-08, as well as the results from the previously released first two drill holes. All the drill holes in this program were put down in the southern part of the Lochaber Township claim group, in the vicinity of the historical Plumbago mine site.

    Highlights include:

    GLK-14-03
3.00 meters grading 6.90 percent including a higher grade intercept of 1.20 meters of 9.56 percent graphite
    GLK-14-04
16.4 meters grading 2.03 percent including a higher grade intercept of 4.40 meters of 4.3 percent graphite including 2.40 meters of 7.38 percent graphite
    GLK-14-08
33.00 meters grading 2.46 percent including a higher grade intercept of 3 meters of 4.57 percent graphite

Paul Gorman, CEO of Great Lakes Graphite, commented:

This drill program augments drilling performed by the previous operator and positions us to complete the NI 43-101 resource calculation that is currently underway. We are extremely pleased with the results of this drill program and are confident that these results, combined with all of the previous work, provide a solid foundation for the resource calculation that is nearing completion.
