Opportunity International Expands Its Community Bank Network Into the DRC

Opportunity International will expand its network of community banks into the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in part thanks to cobalt miner Tenke Fungurume.

TFM, majority owned by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., operates the Tenke Fungurume copper and cobalt mine in the Katanga Province of the DRC
