Metal Bulletin reported that cobalt market watchers are looking out for the restart of ENRC plc’s Zambia-based Chambishi project. Operations were halted there in April, and are due to start up again in July.
As quoted in the market news:
Chambishi’s cobalt workers were sent home on full pay in April after the company halted production due to a shortage of feed stock coming from ENRC’s Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) asset Boss Mining.
