Cobalt Prices Flat Despite Steady Long-Term Demand

Platts reported that weaker spot demand kept cobalt prices flat this week.

As quoted in the market news:

The Platts European assessment for high-grade, 99.8% cobalt cathode eased slightly to $14.90-15.90/lb DDP on October 27 from $15.00-16.00/lb a week earlier. In the US, the same grade was assessed at $14.90-16.00/lb DDP US, up from $15.00-15.90/lb a week earlier.
