The story is quoted as saying:
Zinc three-month forwards on LME were up by 3%, up $ 70 to $ 2307 per tonne. Zinc has been a under performer this year, the Zinc prices were at $ 2606 per tonne on 4 Jan 2010 from where it has slipped to 12.5% to current levels. Declines in the value of Zinc are due to sharp jump in inventories levels.
