The company, which has an agreement with troubled miner Talvivaara for the delivery of raw materials, did not give any further update on the state of the talks with the Finnish group. It received no zinc in concentrate from Talvivaara during the quarter.
The group said that it may sell two of its Peruvian mines, Coricancha and Pucarrajo, following a strategic review which was still ongoing.
Nyrstar added that Coricancha had been on maintenance since mid 2013 and that it had never mined at Pucarrajo since aquiring it in 2010.
