Northern Shield Resources Inc (TSXV:NRN) announced a private placement for up to C$1.5 million and a concurrent non-brokered private placement of up to C$700,000. The proceeds will be used to fund its 49% owned Wabassi property which it explores for zinc, as well as fund the company’s other projects.

As quoted in the press release:
It is expected that the closing of the Offerings will occur in early May 2013 (the “Closing Date”) subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
