HudBay Minerals announces $289 million in capital spending for 2011

The Winnipeg Free Press.com reports that HudBay Minerals (TSX:HBM,NYSE:HBM) intends to spend $163 million at its Lalor gold and zinc project in northern Manitoba.

The story is quoted as saying:

Zinc production is expected to total between 70,000 and 90,000 tonnes, while copper production is forecast to be between 40,000 and 55,000 tonnes.
