Glencore Ends Zinc Agreement with Nyrstar

Bloomberg reported that Glencore had to end its agreement with Nyrstar, the world’s biggest zinc producer, due to competition concerns after buying miner Xtrata.

As quoted in the market news:

Glencore, which had to end the cooperation because of competition concerns after it had bought miner Xtrata, will pay a 44.9 million euro fee to Nyrstar.
