Energia Minerals Ltd. (ASX:EMX) announced that it continues to receive positive results from an ongoing resource definition program at its Italy-based Gorno zinc project.

Energia Minerals Ltd. (ASX:EMX) announced that it continues to receive positive results from an ongoing resource definition program at its Italy-based Gorno zinc project.
As quoted in the press release:

The latest results continue to reinforce the exceptional grade and predictability of the Colonna Zorzone zinc deposit.
Twelve additional holes (GDD032–GDD043) have now also been completed, for which assays are awaited. Eight of these – GDD032, GDD035, GDD036 GDD037, GDD039, GDD041, GDD042 and GDD043 – are from within or peripheral to the main Zorzone deposit with five of these (GDD035, GDD037, GDD041, GDD042 and GDD043) containing significant mineralised intercepts.
The remaining four holes (GDD033, GDD034, GDD038 and GDD040) are exploration holes located to the east of the Colonna Zorzone deposit, with one hole (GDD034) intersecting significant disseminated mineralisation approximately 150m to the east of the previously announced intersection in GDD024 (21.7m intersection grading 10.3% Pb+Zn, announced on 10 November 2015).
A third diamond drill rig has now arrived on site with the continuing focus being on defining the resource up-dip of the 990 level and down-dip of the 940 level in the main Colonna Zorzone area, as well as carrying out further exploration drilling in the vicinity of the newly discovered mineralisation in GDD024 and GDD034

Kim Robinson, managing director of Energia, commented:

We are continuing to make excellent progress with the drilling, with the continuing flow of high-grade results clearly demonstrating the exceptional grade and predictability of the mineralisation within the main Zorzone deposit.
Assay results are pending for a number of holes including a significant new nine metre sulphide intersection in hole GDD034, which appears to have extended the newly discovered Eastern Zone, intersected previously in hole GDD024, a further 150m to the east.
This is an exciting development, as it demonstrates the substantial potential of the broader Gorno area. We will continue to target this new area in parallel with ongoing resource drilling in the main deposit.
