Western Areas Keeps Capital Costs Below $3 A Pound

Mining Weekly reported Western Areas (TSX:WSE,ASX:WSE) says it aims to keep capital costs below $3 a pound.

As quoted in the market news:

Speaking on the sidelines of the Diggers and Dealers conference, Western Areas MD Dan Lougher noted that the company was targeting a production of 26 000 t of nickel for the 2013 year, at a cash cost of around $3/lb.
