Sherritt International Corp. (TSX:S) confirmed strike action by some of the employees at its Madagascar-based Ambatovy plant.
Sherritt International Corp. (TSX:S) confirmed strike action by some of the employees at its Madagascar-based Ambatovy plant. The company doesn’t expect the strike to affect its 2015 production guidance.
As quoted in the press release:
The strike follows a short strike at the Ambatovy mine last month and the Corporation is optimistic for another prompt resolution.
Sherritt is committed to working cooperatively with employee representatives and government officials to review any grievances and resolve this dispute quickly.
