Mining Weekly reported Poseidon Nickel Ltd. (ASX:POS) has received permission to resume operations at its Mount Windarra site.

Mining Weekly reported Poseidon Nickel Ltd. (ASX:POS) has received permission  to resume operations at its Mount Windarra site.

As quoted in the market news:

Poseidon applied to restart mining at the underground mine, open the new Cerebrus orebody, set up a 700 000 t/y nickel flotation concentrator plant, build a gold tailings retreatment facility and install an in-pit tailings deposition through a slurry pipeline to South Windarra.

MD and CEO David Singleton said on Monday that Barnett’s conditional approval was an important outcome for the company, as it essentially gave statutory approval for the project, subject only to final financing and offtake.
