Norilsk Resumes Arctic Shipments After Seasonal Halt

Reuters Africa reports that Norilsk Nickel (LON:MNOD) resumed Arctic shipments from Dudinka after flooding prompted a seasonal halt.

The market news is quoted as saying,

The port of Dudinka, its main export outlet, resumed its operations yesterday, Norilsk said in a press release on Monday.

Every year, Norilsk stops loading nickel, copper and cobalt for export when the ice cover breaks and causes flooding at the mouth of the Yenisei River, where Dudinka is located.
