CBC news reports that talks have ended abruptly between mineworkers and Brazilian mining giant, Vale (NYSE:VALE), who owns the nickel min in Voisey Bay, Labrador.
The story is quoted as saying:
“We sat down, and very early in the conversations realized that there was no willingness on the company’s part to engage in negotiations,” said Darren Cove, of the United Steel Workers union.
