High-grade Nickel Sulfides Reported at North American Nickel’s Imiak Hill Complex

North American Nickel Incorporated (TSXV:NAN,OTCBB:WSCRF) reported final assays and significant new intersections from the Imiak Hill Complex at its Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt and PGM project in Southwest Greenland.

North American Nickel Incorporated (TSXV:NAN,OTCBB:WSCRF) reported final assays and significant new intersections from the Imiak Hill Complex at its Maniitsoq nickel-copper-cobalt and PGM project in Southwest Greenland. The assay results mark the completion of reporting for the company’s 2014 drilling program.

Highlights include:

MQ-14-072 (Imiak Hill, Zone 10): 16.35metres of 2.51% Ni and 0.77% Cu including:
6.55% Ni, 0.83% Cu and 0.22% Co over 2.05 metres; and
3.14% Ni and 1.05% Cu over 6.35 metres.
MQ-14-073 (Mikissoq): 61.35 metres of 0.63% Ni and 0.18% Cu including:
1.79% Ni and 0.54% Cu over 2.6 metres; and
1.27% Ni and 0.27% Cu over 4.6 metres; and
1.59% Ni and 0.22% over 6.56 metres.

I am pleased to report the last two holes from our 2014 drilling program have returned exciting nickel assays at the IHC, confirming the high grade nature of two parallel mineralized zones at Imiak Hill and confirming the northeast and open plunge of the shallow nickel sulphide mineralization at Mikissoq.
