Anglo American Reported to Have Made a Major Nickel Discovery in Finland

Mining Weekly reported Anglo American plc (LSE:AAL) has discovered the largest nickel deposit in Europe.

As quoted in the market news:

The find is located in the Sakattilampi district, north of the town of Sodankylä, in Finnish Lapland.

The discovery was revealed to the local media at a mining meeting at the Levi Ski Resort, north-east of Sodankylä, on Wednesday.
