Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV,OTCQX:TREVF,FWB:4TI) announced results from five drill holes testing deeper levels at its newly discovered Fatima Zones at the Santander Mine in Peru. All of the five holes interesected significant lead-silver-zinc mineralization.
As quoted in the press release:
The Fatima Zones trend sub-perpendicular (approx. 80-85°) to the main Magistral Central deposit. Fatima North is better defined and has current dimensions of 60 metres (west-east), it is approximately 6-metres thick and extends at least 150-metres down-dip. Similar to the Rosa Zone, the Fatima Zones are thought to represent a later-stage, overprinting phase of replacement mineralization along a set of roughly east-west trending feeder structures/veins (Figures 1 & 2).
