Kumba Sees Short-Term Iron-Ore Price Volatility

Mining Weekly reported Kumba Iron Ore (JSE:KIO), which reported higher quarterly output, warned of an increase in the volatility of iron-ore prices.

As quoted in the market news,

The company, which forms part of Anglo American group, said steel mills were facing margin compression and were carefully managing raw material inventories in light of the current uncertain economic environment.
