BHP Investigates Iron Ore Train Derailment

Market Watch reports BHP Billiton Ltd. (NYSE:BHP,ASX:BHP) is investigating the cause of atrain derailment on one of its iron ore lines in west Australia.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Any impact on production will only be revealed in the next quarterly report.

The incident took place Saturday on the Anglo-Australian company’s Newman rail line and rail operations resumed late Monday, spokeswoman Samantha Stevens told Dow Jones Newswires.
