As quoted in the market news:

After surveying the damage today, a Port Hedland Port Authority spokesman said the key export hub could potentially reopen as soon as tonight.

But individual miners who rely on the port, including Fortescue Metals Group and BHP Billiton, still had to fully evaluate any damage to the facility and bring ships back in from safe waters before shipping could resume.
