Australian Mining reported today that a man has been killed in an accident at Glencore’s CSA Copper Mine in New South Wales, Australia.

Australian Mining reported today that a man has been killed in an accident at Glencore’s CSA Copper Mine in New South Wales, Australia. This is the second deadly accident at the mine in two years, according to Australian Mining. Glencore has suspended production at the mine for the time being.

As quoted in the publication:

NSW Police said the man was attempting to dislodge debris from the pipe which was attached to a piece of machinery, before he became trapped. A NSW Police spokeswoman said the man was “sucked inside the pipe”, but no further details were provided.
