Rio Tinto Readies for Final Bids for Northparkes Copper Mine Stake

Reuters reported that Rio Tinto is looking for final bids to take its majority stake in the Northparkes copper mine in Australia.

As quoted in the Reuters report:

OZ Minerals Ltd (OZL.AX) and China’s MMG Ltd (1208.HK) are expected to submit final bids for the stake that Rio hopes could fetch around $800 million, three sources said. All sources declined to be named as the process is confidential.
