Rio Tinto Eyes La Granja for 2017 Production

Mining Weekly reported that Rio Tinto intends to start production at its La Granja copper project by 2017.

As quoted in the Mining Weekly report:

The La Granja project is considered to be one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world and has a current drill-inferred mineral inventory of 2.8-billion tons, at 0.51% copper and 0.11% zinc.
