Plains Exploration & Production Company Vote in Support of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Acquisition

Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE: FCX) and Plains Exploration & Production Company (NYSE: PXP) announced that shareholders have voted in support of FCX’s proposed acquisition of PXP.
