Oracle Mining (TSX:OMN) released its initial NI 43-101 Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource estimates for the Oracle Ridge copper project near Tucson, Arizona.

Oracle Mining (TSX:OMN) released its initial NI 43-101 Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource estimates for the Oracle Ridge copper project near Tucson, Arizona. The Indicated resources include 9.9 million tons of copper at a grading of 1.64% and 0.43 ounces per ton of silver. Inferred resources include 6.9 million tons of 1.58% copper and 0.41 ounces per ton of silver.

CEO Alan Edwards commented:

The initial Mineral Resource estimate for Oracle Ridge confirms what we have believed since acquisition of the project two years ago – that mineralization in historical zones could be validated and a resource established. Oracle Mining plans to resume drilling during the second quarter of 2013 with the goal of expanding and upgrading, if possible, the Mineral Resources.
