MMG has announced its second quarter 2018 production result producing 137,398 tonnes of copper and 58,090 tonnes of zinc in the three months to 30 June.
MMG (HKEX:1208) has announced its second quarter 2018 production result producing 137,398 tonnes of copper and 58,090 tonnes of zinc in the three months to 30 June.
According to the company this contributed to an overall 3 percent growth in production for the first six months of 2018.
A big factor has been the ramp-up of the Dugald River zinc mine in Queensland.
CEO of MMG, Jerry Jiao said:
“The ramp up of Dugald River and the achievement of commercial production ahead of schedule has been an outstanding achievement and further demonstrates MMG’s ability to deliver world class assets.”
