Minera Andes Rejects TNR Gold’s Claim of a Back-in Right to the Los Azules Copper Project
Minera Andes Inc. (TSX:MAI)(OTCBB:MNEAF) reported has received a notice from Solitario Argentina S.A, a wholly- owned subsidiary of TNR Gold Corp. purporting to back-in to a portion of Minera Andes’ Los Azules copper project by “waiving” the requirement that Minera Andes have completed a feasibility study.
Minera Andes Inc. (TSX:MAI)(OTCBB:MNEAF) reported has received a notice from Solitario Argentina S.A, a wholly- owned subsidiary of TNR Gold Corp. purporting to back-in to a portion of Minera Andes’ Los Azules copper project by “waiving” the requirement that Minera Andes have completed a feasibility study.
The press release is quoted as saying:
Minera Andes is an exploration company exploring for gold, silver and copper in Argentina with three significant assets: A 49% interest in Minera Santa Cruz SA who owns the San José Mine which is a large primary silver producer.Los Azules is a large copper porphyry system located in western San Juan province of Argentina in a belt of porphyry copper deposits that straddles the border between Chile and Argentina.
