Freeport’s Grasberg Running at 60 Percent Capacity

Mining Weekly reported that Freeport-McMoRan’s  (NYSE:FCX) Grasberg mine is running at about 60 percent capacity after a series of accidents closed the mine down for a prolonged period.

As quoted in the Mining Weekly report:

Loading of copper concentrate for shipment has also begun, but underground production remained closed.
