First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM)(LSE:FQM) provided a progress report on the Kevitsa nickel-copper-PGE project in Finland.

The project was approved for development by the Company’s Board of Directors in November 2009 and is expected to begin commercial production in mid 2012.
