Equinox Exploration Corp. (TSXV:EQX) appointed Mr. Victor Nielsen as a successor to Mr. Josh Bleak as President.

Equinox Exploration Corp. (TSXV:EQX) appointed Mr. Victor Nielsen as a successor to Mr. Josh Bleak as President.

Mr. Nielsen has over 25 years of leadership and management experience in chemical analysis operations directly related to the mining industry. He has significant experience with companies, such as Freeport McMoRan and Phelps Dodge, in smelter closures and reclamation projects. Specifically, Mr. Nielsen has managed projects dealing with environmental quality of air, soil, and water, as well as the removal, transfer, and shipping of hazardous waste. Mr. Nielsen also owned and managed Sunset Analytical Laboratory, an environmental testing laboratory for volatile organic compounds. Mr. Nielsen is a member of the American Chemical Society, the Arizona Hydrological Society, and the Arizona Water Association.

In addition, Equinox is pleased to announce that Mr. Rick Cid has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Cid is an international business consultant with an extensive background in global management and business development. He was the principal and founder of Hispand Consulting, a consulting firm with offices in Mexico City and Phoenix, Arizona providing global market entry and business development solutions to companies ranging from start-ups to fortune 500. Prior to founding Hispand Consulting, Mr. Cid was a global executive with American International Group (AIG) wherein he managed operations in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Mr. Cid holds a Masters in Business Administration from The Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Bachelors of Science in Finance as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Italian from Arizona State University.
