Anglo-Canadian Mining Corp.(TSXV:URA) announced the identification of precious metal potential at its Armenious property.
As quoted in the press release:
Preliminary mapping on the property has identified a large quartz breccia with localized quartz carbonate veining and limonitic staining. Geophysical work has also identified three significant magnetic anomalies.
Anglo-Canadian, President and CEO, Len Harris, commented:
The property is immediately adjacent to a placer operation in Eureka Creek that has been profitably mined for more than a decade. Although the source of the gold from that operation is yet to be traced, it is known to occur within altered sequences that are thought to extend into the property area.
