Canpotex Signs Potash Supply Deal with India, Matches Uralkalli’s Price

Reuters reported that Canpotex has agreed to a supply contract with India for 1.3 million tonnes, a deal that prices the product at $332 per tonnes on a cost and freight basis until March 31, 2016.

As quoted in the market news:

The deal prices potash until March 31, 2016 at $332 per tonne on a cost and freight basis, up $10 year over year, and matching Indian terms for Russian rival Uralkali.

Canpotex is owned by Potash Corp of Saskatchewan (TSX:POT,NYSE:POT), Mosaic Co (NYSE:MOS) and Agrium Inc (TSX:AGU,NYSE:AGU).
