Are Analysts Too Overconfident About Fertilizer?

BNN reporter, Andrew Bell, recently spoke to BMO Analyst Joel Jackson, who contrary to his bullish colleagues holds a more bearish sentiment for the fertilizer markets.

According to the report, Jackson lists the industry’s problems as:

deteriorating supply/demand, potash market uncertainty, large Chinese nitrogen/phosphate export availability, emerging markets FX depreciation, weaker crop price expectations and Indian subsidy/demand challenges.
