Allana Potash Corp. (CVE:AAA) reports that it has intersected potash mineralization in Hole DK-11-20 (“Hole 20”) in the eastern portion of its land position.

Allana Potash Corp. (TSXV:AAA) reports that it has intersected potash mineralization in Hole DK-11-20 (“Hole 20″) in the eastern portion of its land position.

The press release is quoted as saying;

The presence of strong potash mineralization in the eastern part of the property suggests strong continuity of the potash horizon and the deposit remains open in all directions. There has been no previous drilling in this area and no resource has yet been calculated in this region. Management believes that due to the consistent nature of the Kainite Zone and the continuity supported by drilling, there is strong potential to add additional resources in this region.

Allana Potash’s President and CEO, Farhad Abasov says:

“Allana is extremely encouraged by the zone of kainitite intersected in Hole 20 in a region of the property that has been unexplored to date. This area has experienced no previous drilling and the potash intersection validates our interpretations on the strong continuity of the potash throughout the southern part of the basin. This area is approximately 18 km 2 and management believes there is good potential to add potash resources to the project. Additional drilling in the area will closely follow road building to determine if a large, shallow potash resource may be amenable to open pit mining. The Company’s development efforts continue with plans for a feasibility study underway and work expected to start in a few weeks. In addition, management continues negotiations with potential off-takers.”
