Aguia Begins 7,500 Meter Drill Program at Joca Tavares and Cerro Preto Targets
Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR) announced that is has begun an extensive, five-rig, 7,000 meter drill program at the Joca Tavares and Cerro Preto targets in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The company has also initiated the environmental impact assessment work across the Rio Grande portfolio.
Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR) announced that is has begun an extensive, five-rig, 7,000 meter drill program at the Joca Tavares and Cerro Preto targets in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The company has also initiated the environmental impact assessment work across the Rio Grande portfolio.
Joca Tavares drilling program:
Three rigs will complete 4,500 meters of drilling over the carbonate-hosted Joca Tavares mineralization. The program will combine shallow vertical drilling to outline the oxide mineralization from surface to a depth of 50 meters and also inclined holes to investigate the fresh carbonatite at depth.
Cerro Preto drilling program:
Concurrently, two rigs have commence a 2,500 meter scout drilling program at Aguia’s 100-percent owned sedimentary Cerro Preto target, covering an initial 5 kilometer of the strike-length.
