Naturally Splendid Attends International Trade Shows and Presents in Geneva at NutraIngredients Awards

Naturally Splendid (TSXV:NSP) announced its senior management has recently returned from the 20th edition of the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) trade show in Singapore, where they attended as official members of the Canadian Trade Delegation. FHA2016 reported this has been the largest event thus far in their history. The event broke records in many areas including a staggering record of 47,630 trade buyers from across Asia and beyond. FHA2016 is the largest trade event of its kind in the region and this has been the largest FHA event to date thus far.

n regards to South Korea, Naturally Splendid will be attending its second trade show as official members of the Canadian Trade Delegation when it attends Seoul Food 2016, May 10 – 13 in Seoul, South Korea. Seoul Food 2016 reports they are looking to expand on its record breaking year in 2015. Seoul Food and Hotel provides participating countries with an opportunity to meet with key importers, distributors and industry buyers from retail, catering and the hospitality trade across Korea. With Korea’s position as the 13th largest economy in the world, this is arguably one of the most significant importing countries in the world. A fact made even more relevant given the recent Free Trade Agreement signed between Canada and South Korea, thus creating new business opportunities for companies like Naturally Splendid. Seoul Food 2016 is organized in a partnership between Allworld Exhibitions, who organize Asia’s largest food and hospitality exhibitions, alongside KOTRA, Korea’s government trade promotion agency.
At the same time Naturally Splendid is attending Seoul Food 2016, a senior management contingent will be in Geneva, Switzerland presenting at the prestigious NutraIngredients Awards. Naturally Splendid is a finalist for the prestigious NutraIngredients Awards, in the category of Start-up Ingredient of the Year, for their innovative omega ingredient HempOmega®. The NutraIngredients Awards are a showcase for the nutrition and supplements industry.

We would like to thank the many Canadian Foreign Trade Ministers that spent time with us over this four day event. We are now in the process of identifying the most attractive SE Asian regions to initially penetrate and are developing a strategy that will be implemented shortly. Additionally, we had multiple meetings with distributors from a number of countries in the SE Asia region who have expressed an interest in partnering with Naturally Splendid to import not only hemp based products, but the full range of plant based ingredients that we offer. Our objective is to replicate the success that we are seeing from the recently launched export program to South Korea, in multiple countries in the SE Asia region
