Whistler Medical Marijuana to begin shipping Live Cannabis Plants within Canada

Whistler Medical Marijuana Corp (WMMC) today announced that they are the first Licensed Producer of medicinal cannabis in Canada to offer access to their strain genetics through the shipment of live plants. The move builds upon WMMC’s existing organic product range of both dried marijuana and cannabis oils which are already available to eligible patients as part of Health Canada’s Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR).
Solidifying the company’s position as an industry leader, the expansion will allow patients to share in the substantial research and development invested into producing strong genetics at the companies Coast Mountain facility.
Hand cut from the same mother plants that produce WMMC’s own harvests, each plant shipped will represent three years of careful strain selection, dozens of test grow cycles, and detailed analysis by third party laboratories.
President Chris Pelz comments “True to the Whistler culture of pushing limits, we are thrilled to be the first Licensed Producer to offer some of our genetics to Canadians. We have invested significantly in our Plant Research Program here at WMMC and feel that it is important to share those R & D results to offer increased access to medicinal cannabis for ACMPR registered patients.”
Starting Monday 24th October, eligible ACMPR patients will be able to register with WMMC and purchase plants to produce their own medication. Plants will be shipped via express courier using Clone Shipper, www.cloneshipper.com
