Trevali Mining CEO Interviewed on BNN: It’s a Good Time to Be a Zinc Miner

Trevali Mining Corp (TSX:TV) CEO Mark Cruise was interviewed by BNN Commodities regarding the company’s Glencore acquisitions and how they have contributed to production levels in Q4 2017.
Cruise discussed Treveli’s relationship with Glencore, which owns 25 percent of the company and is considered to be the largest zinc player in the world. He highlighted that the deal provided benefits to both parties, giving Glencore exposure and providing Trevali with the opportunity to continue developing the newly acquired properties while they are in production.
During the rest of the interview, Cruise discussed the company’s projects and how its Burkina Faso property compares to the rest of the portfolio as a major zinc contributor despite its higher cost of production. Lastly Cruise talked about the state of the market and what has led to the rising prices of the commodity.
