Defiance Silver, (TSXV: DEF, OTC: DNCVF, FRA: D4E,) a Canadian junior exploration and development company has expanded the mineralization envelope by 230 meters at its San Acacio Deposit in Zacatecas, Mexico.
The property currently has almost 18 million ounces of indicated and inferred silver equivalent and Peter J. Hawley, P. Geo., with more than 20 years experience in Mexico, founder of Scorpio Mining, now Americas Silver and Defiance Silver’s Chairman, thinks that can be expanded to 50 million ounces through the company’s aggressive exploration campaign.
Defiance Silver Chairman Peter Hawley said:

“Mexico has been pretty well explored for silver. San Acacio and the Veta Grande vein system it rests on is the last great high-grade silver vein to be explored and developed.” He has also described the project as a “bit of a hidden gem.”
